What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis is a scientific evidence-based intervention, utilizing the principles of behavior to teach learners new skills replacing challenging behaviors. Behavior Analysts focus on the functions of behaviors to better understand the learner's attempt at communication.

Individualized interventions teach socially appropriate behaviors. ABA is an effective therapeutic treatment for individuals of all ages and abilities. Research has shown that ABA will decrease the need for intensive services for individuals across the their lifespan. 

What Are The Signs Of ASD?

  • Lack of eye contact

  • Repetitive speech or motor movement

  • Failure to initiate/respond to social interactions

  • Limited interaction and play

  • Frequent emotional outbursts

  • Difficulty adjusting to change

  • Ritualistic behaviors

  • Fixated interests

  • Highly sensitive or lacking sensitivity

How Can ABA Therapy Help?

  • Communication challenges, such as difficulty or absence in verbal communication

  • Social challenges, such as running away

  • Self regulation issues

  • Aggression, such as throwing objects, kicking, and biting

  2. We will assist you in the next steps. This varies depending on your insurance provider and coverage. We will verify your benefits or guide you through the process if you are a Medicaid recipient.

  3. If you choose to receive services from us, then we will submit for pre authorization if you are a private insurance user or we will guide you through the process for Medicaid users.

  4. Once approved a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will work together with you to discuss you and your learners wants and needs to create a treatment plan and goals.
